Sensitive information specialist archTIS Limited (ASX:AR9) has signed an agreement with the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) for the use of the company’s Kojensi Gov Secure Content and Collaboration Cloud Service.

ACIC has procured, via the DTA Cloud Marketplace, Kojensi Gov for an initial 150 users and up to 200 hours of additional services, archTIS expects user numbers to grow.

ACIC will use Kojensi Gov for the programme team developing the government’s National Criminal Intelligence System (NCIS) program for an initial 15-month period.

Kojensi Gov will enable NCIS members to share and collaborate, securely, on information needed to create a “truly national, unified picture of criminal activity” across states and territories in Australia.

Daniel Lai, Managing Director of archTIS, said the Kojensi Gov supports a need for digital collaboration across the strict security protocols required geographically dispersed agencies and as part of the NCIS program law enforcement personnel, ACIC is the second agency to use Cloud Services Panel to procure Kojensi Gov.

Mr Lai said the agreement was finalised using the Digital Transformation Agency’s Cloud Marketplace, formerly Cloud Services Panel. This follows on from Kojensi Gov’s addition to the panel earlier this year, and subsequent use for procurement of Kojensi Gov by the Attorney General’s Department.

Kojensi Gov will support the ACIC’s NCIS program and law enforcement agencies to collaborate, securely, to facilitate the development of a unified image of crime in Australia.

“Partnering with such an important initiative proves the utilisation of Kojensi Gov for secure collaboration between and within agencies.

“We look forward to working with ACIC, and its partners, and continuing to expand the Kojensi Gov service through government and industry, in Australia and abroad,” Mr Lai said.
