Austco Healthcare (ASX: AHC) has been awarded a further $1.7 million contract for Phase 2 of the Tacera Care Communications System refresh at the Jurong Health Complex in Singapore. This contract expansion follows the success of the $3.8 million contract previously announced on 3 November 2023.

The Phase 2 upgrade will see the continuation of Austco’s innovative solutions being implemented at Jurong Health Complex, which includes the 700-bed Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and the 400-bed Jurong Community Hospital. The installation will expand on the advanced communication capabilities introduced in Phase 1, enhancing patient care and operational efficiency through seamless integration with third-party systems.

Key Features of the Phase 2 Expansion Include:

  • Further deployment of Austco’s cutting-edge RTLS-enabled call points, improving staff locating and duress notifications.
  • Enhanced workflow automation and patient safety features, ensuring that Jurong Health remains at the forefront of healthcare technology.
  • Continued integration with other hospital systems, allowing for real-time communication and streamlined patient care processes.
