Australian biotechnology research, development and supply company Biogency has launched a new formula of its dietary supplement, Synext, in Australia.
According to Biogency, the formula aims to promote healthy ageing and support a variety of functions in the body, including relieving inflammation, energy generation, cardiovascular and blood capillary health.
At the core of Synext’s formula are NAD+ precursors, which research has found can support cell metabolism and energy generation. Biogency has also infused an array of ingredients from Synext’s first formula, including Resveratrol, Curcumin, Coenzyme Q10 and Quercetin, with two new active ingredients.
The first is Ellagic Acid, an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties that Biogency says has been found to improve skin quality and combine with other Synext ingredients to activate the AMPK pathway. There is also Urolithin A, a molecule associated with building muscle, improving body fat composition, harbouring anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, protecting the brain and improving intestinal flora.
Informed by epigenetics, an emerging field exploring how our lifestyle and environment can influence our genes, Synext also incorporates Selenomethionine and Zinc Glycinate, which studies have found interact with other ingredients to enhance gene protection and repair, optimise gene methylation and reduce one’s epigenetic age.
Dr. Guanchen Sun, Co-Founder and Research and Development Director at Biogency said: “With consumers battling long working hours and a plethora of environmental stressors, we wanted to create a supplement that could support long-term health, and help people handle whatever life throws at them. Synext is informed by insights from biomedical research that show how the right combination of nutritional supplements can impact how our bodies age, revitalising our cellular energy factory and improving our digestive, nervous and immune functions.”
“We founded Biogency in 2017 to help our customers transform their health and benefit from the latest biomedical research. Our new Synext formula is an exciting next step in that journey.”
Synext is available to purchase on biogency.com.au and in select Australian pharmacies for $129 AUD.
