Solar power generating glass company ClearVue continues to sign a string of MoUs for its revolutionary technology, announcing an agreement with leading Swedish micro-home developer Attefallshus AB.

The partnership is ClearVue’s second foray into the micro-homes space, holding a separate MoU with Australian hemp-based sustainable living manufacturer Mirreco.

Under the new agreement, Attefallshus and ClearVue will work to integrate ClearVue glass products into the housing company’s mini homes and other constructions, and will be on an exclusive basis within the Scandinavian region.

The move follows a strategic shift from Attefallshus, which is improving its micro-home offering ahead of proposed legislative change in Sweden that will adjust laws around the permission of micro-homes.

Commenting on the collaboration with ClearVue, Attefallshus CEO Mr Niklas Madden said:

“We are both honored and excited to sign this collaboration agreement with ClearVue and see a huge potential for implementation of ClearVue PV`s products into our already smart micro-homes.

“Micro homes, or commonly ‘Attefalshus’ in Sweden, are very small homes that are typically no greater than 25m2 – soon to be 30 m2 – and have limited space for traditional roof-based solar PV especially as many microhome designs will often incorporate a rooftop terrace including many of our own designs – surface real estate for PV being at an absolute premium.”

The Attefallshus CEO is an entrepreneur and inventor who has been operating within the Scandinavian housing industry since 2004.

Madden is also the founder of ecOrigo.org, a planetary restoration program aimining to reverse the effects of climate change.
