Australian Blockchain specialist DigitalX Ltd (ASX: DCC) has revealed that one of its clients has achieved a record pre-initial coin offering (ICO) raising.
DigitalX has acted as the Corporate Advisor to Bankera which has successfully raised €25 million raised through the sale of 2.5 Billion Bankers (BNK) tokens at €0.01.
Bankera, which is building a digital bank for the blockchain era, is seeking to provide traditional banking and investment banking services to the blockchain marketplace including payments, loans and deposits and investments. All services will support both traditional fiat currencies as well as cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, DASH, NEM, ERC20 compliant tokens and others.
Bankera is seeking to offer businesses instant payment settlements using advanced proprietary know- your-client (KYC) and fraud detection solutions to collect information about the incoming payments and automatically settle transactions.
DigitalX CEO, Leigh Travers, said the Bankera raising success is a significant development for his company, as it was the first engagement of the company as an adviser in the ICO space, DigitalX has since followed the Bankera engagement with the recently announced appointment to Etherparty.
Throughout the Pre-ICO process, DigitalX provided a range of industry specific and traditional corporate advisory services to Bankera. After successful completion of these services, DigitalX is receiving an engagement fee of US$10,000, paid through 2.58 Bitcoin, approximately US$100,000 in Ethereum for cryptocurrency investors introduced to Bankera and approximately 130m BNK tokens for corporate advisory services.
DigitalX provided an introduction to Blockchain Global Ltd which has indicated its exchange, ACX.io, will be listing the BNK token.
