EZZ Life Science Holdings (ASX: EZZ) has launched a handful of ethical beauty and personal care products at duty-free retailer DFS's Auckland Airport store.

With a strong foothold in the Chinese consumer market, EZZ has been able to capitalise on the popularity of its Australian produced  products, with the DFS collaboration following New Zealand experiencing a rebound in Chinese tourist numbers.

Prior to COVID-19, China was one of New Zealand’s largest inbound tourist markets. Visitor numbers slowed significantly during the pandemic period but have rebounded in the last six months after New Zealand became one of just 20 countries granted ‘approved destination status’ by China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The latest data shows Chinese visitors returned to New Zealand faster than those from other countries and are already back to pre-pandemic levels.

EZZ Chairman Glenn Cross said the company was delighted to partner with DFS especially with New Zealand experiencing a resurgence in Chinese tourism.

“We’re thrilled to expand our collaboration with DFS, building on the success we achieved in Sydney last year,” he said.

“Post-Covid, Chinese tourists are increasingly prioritising health and we are excited to present our product range to them alongside other travellers, with such a renowned name in the duty-free retail industry.”

EZZ will launch seven products at DFS Auckland Airport including its popular EAORON hydration and anti-aging solutions, along with its flagship supplement, Bone Growth Chews.

it also launched an exclusive product line at DFS's flagship Sydney store last year, featuring two unique EAORON packages tailored exclusively for DFS customers. The product launches in both Australia and New Zealand will be bolstered by billboard advertising campaigns across major airports in both countries.

The recent collaboration exemplifies EZZ's omnichannel distribution strategy, complementing its presence on eBay, Amazon Australia, and over 700 pharmacies, including the recent partnership with Australia’s largest retail pharmacy, Chemist Warehouse.
