Advanced materials company First Graphene Limited (ASX: FGR) has despatched its first graphene shipment from its Commercial Graphene Facility at Henderson in Western Australia.
The shipment’s destination is a USA-based construction materials company for testing in cement products, following on from an enquiry at the recent IDTechEx Conference in Santa Clara.
“This shipment demonstrates FGR’s ability to meet customer orders from the facility and supply commercial quantities at short notice,” Managing Director Craig McGuckin said.
Building on our internal program to define and characterise the FGR portfolio of graphene products, we have concluded successful discussions with customers in Europe, who are impressed by our product delivery capabilities and are keen to move forward with prototyping trials. Samples have been despatched to these parties in Italy and the UK to complete these trials.”
First Graphene produces high quality graphene from high grade Sri Lankan vein graphite.
