Vertically integrated recruitment and building services provider the GO2 People Ltd (ASX: G02) reports that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Terra Firma Constructions Pty Ltd, has expanded its contract with Altura Mining Limited at the Pilgangoora Lithium Mine in Western Australia.
The extension has increased the value of the contract by approximately $642,000 to $2.05 million.
The contract is for the design and construction of Altura’s Mining Operations Centre at Pilgangoora, a world-class hard-rock open pit lithium mine which will be in production in early 2018.
In preparation for production, Altura is putting in place the necessary buildings and infrastructure to make the mine fully operational.
Terra Firma began site works in August 2017 under an initial contract to the value of $970,000. The contract expansion announced today, in addition to prior variations, increases the value of this contract to $2.05 million. The additional scope of works relates to the addition of service trenching and associated works to the contract.
The company’s Building Division generated revenue of $0.75m in FY17 and this contract highlights the growth of the division in line with the Company’s expectations. The Company is aiming to further increase its presence and capability in this sector, in line with its Strategic Plan.
