ASX-listed, audio‐based social media technology developer HearMeOut Limited (ASX: HMO) has reported significant growth in a number of key markets, including a 300% increase in user registration for its “voice” App.

Releasing its Quarterly Report this morning, the company revealed it had achieved success in a range of areas including a strong move into the rich motoring market where it has a relationship with Ford in the USA.

The company also reported strong Apple App Sore recognition for its revolutionary voice-based social media platform, where it achieved

  • A top 10 ranking in the US Social Media category; and
  • A top 25 ranking in Australia, the UK and Canada in the same category.

HearMeOut CEO, Moran Chamsi, said the successful third Quarter has created the foundation for considerable advancement of the company and its technology.

HMO has developed a revolutionary voice-based social media platform, dubbed by some in the media as “Twitter with a voice”, that transforms the way people engage with and consume social media.

The platform enables users to share and listen to 42-second audio posts through the platform’s native feed or on other social networks, such as Twitter or Facebook. Through this app, people can express their authentic voice and put their unique signature on social media interactions.

Mr Chamsi said that since the US launch of the HearMeOut App in March the company has focused on user registration, likes, comments, post plays and new posts.

A key element to the growth of the platform is the attraction of suitable influencers. This includes American social media personality and rapper Danielle Bregoli, who attracted 100,000 followers on the HearMeOut App during quarter, while she also featured the App on her latest music video, which has been viewed more than 30 million times.
HMO also attracted talent from India, including RJ Balaji, Andrea Jeremiah and Chinmayi Sripaada – who all have tens of thousands of followers on the App each.

A significant new development for HMO has been its expansion into the car market, where it is collaborating with motoring giant Ford.

The HearMeOut App is also a member of the SmartDeviceLink (SDL) global platform providing the company with access to the industry’s largest group of automakers and equipment suppliers looking to enhance the driving experience through unique connected apps.

The SDL platform is overseen by a consortium established by the Ford Motor Company and Toyota Motor Corporation and includes car manufacturers and brands such as Lexus, Lincoln, Mazda, Subaru, Suzuki, Peugeot, Citroen, DS and Daihatsu.
