With the competition underway, a successful series of world-wide launches behind it and now a high-powered marketing campaign in full swing, digital technology and entertainment company, MSM Corporation International Limited (ASX: MSM) is stirring up a media storm across the globe.
With significant media coverage already via TV interviews on Extra TV in the US and Australian breakfast TV shows Today and The Morning Show, a major highlight is about to occur with Megastar’s Chief Creative Officer and Ambassador, Usher, set to appear on some of the world’s highest rating TV shows over the next 48 hrs, including the Ellen DeGeneres Show and Extra TV.
Megastar has also achieved recognition by way of a small feature in the App store.
MSM Managing Director Dion Sullivan has seen more than 300 pieces of unpaid media coverage generated (broadcast, online and print), with a global reach of more than 100 million people.
“We have been overwhelmed by the media interest in Megastar globally, but not surprised. Media exposure to date has been achieved due to a well-planned strategy to introduce Megastar to the global media, who have clearly identified it to be a globally significant talent competition like no other,” Mr Sullivan said.
“Today we also achieved another major milestone: being featured in the “Apps We Love” section of the Apple App Store.
This means that Megastar is already one of a very small number of Apps on Apple’s radar.
Apps that obtain a full-feature, experience considerably greater organic downloads than other apps.”
The Megastar media campaign will continue to build throughout the first global competition. It will be complemented and amplified by social media campaigns, which will progressively leverage a combined audience reach of more than 130 million social media users through Megastar’s network of social media influencers, sponsored performers and celebrity talent. The social media program can be followed on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter @megastarapp.
The first global audition heat of Megastar commenced on 30 September with the grand finale scheduled to commence on 2 December 2017 with the Finale scheduled for 14 December 2017.
