Cloud network solution specialist NetLinkz Limited (ASX: NET) has signed an additional 168 sales agreements through China Telecom Wuxi to deploy NetLinkz’s patented cloud networking solution.

The company says its expects the agreements to lead to over 12,000 sales of the company’s software licences (VINs).

NetLinkz Executive Chairman, James Tsiolis, said 3ach new customer is contracted for a period of between 24 and 36 months, with the Joint Venture due to receive monthly revenue from China Telecom for every license sold after deployment.

Deployment of the technology through China Telecom is forecast to begin in November and December, 2017.

“China Telecom has developed a robust sales guide, white paper with ‘use cases’ and a business support system (including a CRM) to support the technology’s rollout strategy in Wuxi and beyond,” Mr Tsiolis said.

“In addition, over 400 China Telecom sales representatives have been trained in the technology and will be actively promoting its product suite to new and existing clients.

“This incredible level of support so early on has resulted in strong customer uptake rates and we expect this to continue as more resources are added to the venture, and as the technology’s unique value proposition becomes more widely known in China,” Mr Tsiolis said.

China Telecom Wuxi’s General Manager Hualin Zhang recently visited Sydney to participate in a series of strategic meetings and a signing ceremony with Netlinkz. The event was attended by a senior delegation from China Telecom, representatives from the Government of Wuxi and MP Jonathan O’Dea, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier and Treasurer of the New South Wales Government.

During the signing ceremony, Hualin Zhang said he was targeting exponential sales growth for the technology over the coming three years.

The Chinese Government have announced that Wuxi will be a key strategic hub in China for the Internet of Things (IOT) and Cloud Services.
