Novita reaches strategic supply agreement with Edtech Impact - TechInvest Magazine Online

Early childhood technology specialist Novita Healthcare Limited (ASX: NHL) has signed a supply agreement with UK-based Edtech Impact.

The agreement will bring together Novita, developer of the Tali Train system, with Edtech – founded by the team behind the Innovate My School community.

Tali Train is a scientifically proven game-based training programme for 3 – 8-year-old children, focused on treating childhood attention issues. It is delivered via a tablet at home or delivered in a classroom setting at school.

Novita chairman Sue MacLeman said the agreement is a significant step forward for Novita as Edtech Impact specifically targets schools that have already identified the need for tools such as Tali Train.

“In effect this is a pool of pre- qualified high value sales targets that will assist to compress the sales cycle and potentially drive timely revenue generation for Tali in the UK.

“Tali is Effective for Children with Development Disorders as well as Typically Developing Children. It also helps children get “school ready.

In collaboration with the joint venture partners YPO and Innovate My School, products on the Edtech Impact platform are seen by more than 180,000 site visitors each month.

It undertakes targeted campaigns to teachers who have already expressly opted-in to obtain first access to and use of new technologies such as Tali Train.

Greater than 90% of schools across the UK receive the Edtech Impact Guides that showcase a specific Edtech product with real life impact stories.

Novita’s Tali Train is considered to be a first line or complimentary early childhood intervention for the treatment of inattention, is well placed to benefit from Edtech Impact’s reach into UK schoolteacher communities.

Edtech Impact and Novita will also partner on specific school leader only events and on the collection of data related to the use of and the social, economic and education impact of Tali Train in the UK school system.

This will provide a base for potential expansion of the Tali technology into the NHS (National Health Scheme) in the UK and provide a base for expansion into Europe post receipt of CE Mark for Tali Train.
