Orcoda signs new SaaS contracts with community transport providers

 

Integrated smart transport technology solutions provider Orcoda Limited’s (ASX: ODA) wholly-owned subsidiary Orcoda Healthcare and Transport Logistics has executed several Software-as-a-Services (SaaS) contracts with community transport providers across Australia.

 

Orcoda’s Community Transport software awarded four new multi-year SaaS contracts on the back of the ACTA Trial. Its platform enables CHSP transport providers to manage and optimise operations to enhance efficiencies, as well as improve overall administration, compliance, quality and passenger safety of their transport operations.

 

All contracts have an initial three year term, commencing 1 July 2024, with an estimated ~$330k aggregate incremental revenue contribution to Orcoda for initial term.

 

Background:

 

The Australian Federal Government’s Department of Health and Aged Care, in partnership with the Australian Community Transport Association (ACTA), has recently launched a Community Transport Pricing Pilot with the key objectives to:

  1. refine the methodology for calculating transport costs,
  2. ii) explore alternative policy arrangements, and
  • iii) integrate social engagement and client choice into development of future transport pricing mechanisms (the ACTA Trial).

Selected Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) transport providers are participating in the ACTA Trial, including both new and existing clients of Orcoda Healthcare and Transport Logistics.

 

As part of the ACTA Trial, ACTA has agreed to provide partial funding to these participants to implement and use a transport software platform to better manage their transport operations and obtain relevant data.

 

Orcoda’s Community Transport software is one of the transport software platforms approved for the ACTA Trial. The Orcoda platform enables CHSP transport providers to manage and optimise their transport operations to enhance operational efficiency, while providing real-time data for informed decision making, as well as helping to streamline administrative tasks, ensure compliance, enhance passenger safety and drive continual improvement in service quality.

 

To date, Orcoda Healthcare and Transport Logistics Pty Ltd has executed four new SaaS contracts with the following participants in the ACTA Trial:

(i) Astley Care (Western Australia) – located in Gosnells, providing community support in the surrounding area for over 37 years;

(ii) Derby Home and Community Care (Western Australia) – servicing the Derby town area within the West Kimberly region;

(iii) Noarlunga Volunteer Transport Services (South Australia) – based in the southern suburbs of Adelaide; and

(iv) TransCare Hunter (New South Wales) – serving the Muswellbrook and Upper Hunter Shire Council areas since 2008.

 

Beyond these new clients, existing Orcoda community transport clients – Transitcare, Burnie Brae and Comlink Australia – are also participants in the ACTA Trial.
