PlaySide Studios Limited (ASX: PLY) has confirmed that Rocket Flair Studios’ Dynasty of the Sands is the first title to be signed to its publishing division, PlaySide Publishing.
Set to launch in Early Access on PC in 2024, Dynasty of the Sands is an Ancient Egypt- inspired creative/survival city builder hybrid set in a stunning open world.
PlaySide will provide Rocket Flair Studios with development advances in accordance with agreed milestones that are consistent with industry benchmark requirements for bringing the game to launch. PlaySide is responsible for publishing and marketing the title and will pay Rocket Flair Studios a share of net revenue from the sale of the game as part of this agreement.
While PlaySide cannot predict the likely revenues to be generated by the game our 1HFY23 Investor Deck provides some general assumptions regarding the potential performance of indie titles.
