Rental property specialist Rent.com.au Limited’s (ASX: RNT) Renter Resume feature has exceeded 200,000 resumes created since its launch 13 months ago.

RENT CEO Greg Bader said Renter Resume was developed to make renting easier.
“At its heart is the ability for you to enter your information just once, and then use that information to apply online for multiple properties. Customers are loving it and to reach 200,000 resumes in less than 400 days is fantastic,” Mr Bader said.
“We know that Renter Resume is helping people find that perfect property. The ability for a customer to articulate a narrative on their situation, their history and property desires shows intent and helps demonstrate that they are serious about their property application,” he added.
Mr Bader said that the Pet Resume is also being well received.
He said that recent changes proposed by the Victorian Government to make renting with pets easier will only further increase Renter Resume adoption
“Another way that we can see the effect that we are having in helping people with their rental move is in the number of products that a customer using the Renter Resume process uses.
“We are seeing this steadily increase and we expect further increases as we bring new products to market that are specifically focused on the renting journey. If we look at Product Revenue (RentBond, RentConnect and RentCheck) per month against the number of Renter Resumes created per month, we can see that Average Product Revenue per User (ARPU) has tripled since launch.”
The recently added Suburb Reviews feature has already received over 30,000 reviews across more than 4,500 suburbs.
Mr Bader said customers are finding these “real person” reviews valuable when comparing lifestyle factors across suburbs and we currently display the “top 3” attributes as indicated by people in that suburb (Surry Hills example to the right).
“We are not stopping there,” said Mr Bader. “More than ever customers are looking to move into different areas either within the state or interstate and they are asking what areas suit them. Everyone’s needs are different of course but the Suburb Reviews data has allowed us to build out index models (suitability graphs) on each of the reviewed suburbs and we expect to make this available to customers in the coming weeks”.
