Perth-based start-up Gravy Gaming – developer of leading mass multiplayer trivia app QuizJam – has teamed up with Seven West Media for the launch of a new web-based quiz platform, allowing the diversified media business to further interact and connect with its audience.

Seven West launches new QuizJam product

The first QuizBoard- four quizzes covering major news on sports, politics, entertainment and general news during 2017 – was launched on December 15th with Seven West Media.

“The product allows us to further interact and connect with our audience, whilst at the same time gain further insights through user data to provide a richer audience and advertising experience,” Seven West Media WA Head of Digital Dan Stinton said.

Participants who play any or all the quizzes, and score high enough, enter a draw to win 1 of 4, $250 vouchers to Crown. The quizzes can be accessed at https://thewest.quizjam.com.

Entries close on the 15th of January 2018.

QuizJam app is also used by organisations to create private trivia games and surveys to educate, embed training, enhance culture and engage with their employees.

The platform is used by Commonwealth Bank, EY, Carsales, Bethesda Games, West Coast Eagles, PGA of Australia.

We are already partnering with some of Australia’s biggest agencies and brands to embed the web based product into their websites and apps,” QuizJam founder Joel Steel said.

“QuizJam will continue to strategically align with agencies to access large brands, at scale, cost effectively,” Mr Steel added.

QuizJam has raised $900,000 in seed funding prior to their current open round of $550,000 of which $300,000 has now been accounted for.

Gravy Gaming has recently graduated from the Plus Eight, Muru-D tech accelerator programme backed by Telstra, Seven West, Hawaiian Group and Spacecubed.
