Remote security monitoring and cloud-based technology company Spectur Limited (ASX:SP3) has posted some impressive sales figures, today announcing that the company has more than doubled its revenue from the same time last year.
Spectur has reported that its unaudited sales figures have reached a combined total of $416,000 for the period of January and February this year.
The company’s core product is the HD4 security camera system and its associated cloud-based platform.
HD4 is a solar-powered security system with a battery backup that can be remotely accessed and connected via 3G/4G technology via a cloud-based platform.
The company is initially targeting sales from the building and construction industry, as well as the critical infrastructure sector, through both commercial and government partners.
The solar powered cameras ensure that the technology can secure some of the most difficult, remote and unpowered sites.
Commenting on recent results Spectur Managing Director Peter Holton said:
“Over the past six months, the company has invested heavily in building our management team, brand, sales channels, marketing and the development of new products.
These investments will provide considerable ongoing benefit to Spectur and as we continue to service a very large and diversified target market,” he said.
Shares in Spectur closed up almost to two percent, finishing at 30.5 cents per share, on an otherwise turbulent day for the Australian market.
