Australian clean tech innovator Sprintex Limited (ASX: SIX) is taking a bold step into the Indian market, marking a significant milestone by partnering with Euroteck Environmental Pvt. Ltd. to introduce its G15 Jet Blowers for advanced wastewater treatment. The collaboration aims to integrate Sprintex’s high-efficiency aeration technology into Euroteck’s established Aire-O2 Triton® systems, setting the stage for a long-term supply agreement across India.
The five G15 Jet Blowers have already arrived in India for an intensive evaluation phase, where they will undergo rigorous testing by Euroteck. If successful, this trial could unlock substantial market opportunities, with Euroteck positioned to roll out Sprintex’s technology across more than 3,000 existing Triton systems nationwide.
A Strategic Push into India’s Water Treatment Sector
India’s demand for effective water treatment solutions is immense, given its growing urban population and industrial footprint. Euroteck, founded in 2005, is a key player in this space, supplying aeration and wastewater solutions across India and the Middle East. With over 200 staff and four factories, Euroteck’s reach provides Sprintex with a ready-made channel to introduce its technology on a large scale.
Euroteck’s Managing Director, Rajkumar Kurra, emphasised the alignment between the two companies: “Sprintex’s G15 Jet Blowers, with their advanced energy efficiency, align perfectly with our goals and complement our IntelHydroTM AIoT Platform.” This AI-driven platform will further optimise the energy savings already embedded in Sprintex’s blowers, enhancing performance and operational sustainability.
Efficiency Gains: A Key Selling Point
Sprintex’s G15 Jet Blowers have previously demonstrated energy savings of up to 69% in other industrial applications, making them a promising choice for Euroteck’s expansive operations. These blowers are designed to replace conventional side channel blowers, potentially transforming the energy efficiency of India’s wastewater treatment infrastructure. Sprintex Managing Director Jay Upton shared his optimism about the partnership: “This evaluation will not only demonstrate the value of our G15 Jet Blowers but also serve as a key step towards a long-term supply agreement, helping us meet India’s growing demand for advanced water treatment solutions.”
Potential for a Long-Term Supply Agreement
If the G15 blowers meet Euroteck’s standards during testing, the partnership could pave the way for a long-term, exclusive supply agreement. With over 3,000 Aire-O2 Triton® systems currently in place, the market potential is significant. Additionally, Euroteck’s annual demand for blowers is around 300-400 units, and Sprintex’s G15 could soon become a staple component in its water treatment arsenal.
