SRG lands $50m in new contracts - TechInvest Magazine Online

SRG Global Ltd (ASX: SRG) has secured two facade contracts in Infrastructure Construction and a structures contract in Defence totalling ~$50 million.

The first facade contract is for the 555 Collins Street project in Melbourne with Lendlease, on behalf of Charter Hall. The project site works have commenced and will run for approximately 20 months. This contract is the fourth major contract with Lendlease, on behalf of Charter Hall in Melbourne announced or completed in the last year.

The 555 Collins Street project features highly specialised and bespoke requirements including unique stepped feature GRC cladding elements to the upper podium and high-performance curved glazing throughout the tower. Once complete, the project will comprise 50,000m2 premium office space and 2,300m2 retail space.

The second façade contract is for the 60 King William Street development in Adelaide’s CBD with Built, also on behalf of Charter Hall. The scope is to design, supply and install thermally broken high- performance facades. The project will start immediately and run for approximately 24 months. This contract is the first facades contract win in South Australia further establishing SRG Global Facades business’ national footprint.

The 60 King William Street development will be home to the Federal Government agency Services Australia and has been designed with industry leading environmental sustainability including 6 Star Green Star, 5 Star NABERS Energy ratings and 6 Star NABERS Waste rating.

SRG Global has also been awarded a contract with Lendlease in the Defence sector to provide structures work at the HMAS Stirling Facility at Garden Island in Western Australia. This represents a new sector for SRG Global and continues to increase the diverse sectors in which SRG Global operates. This contract will start immediately and will be completed by the end of 2021.
