Swift Networks (ASX: SW1) has signed a 36-month agreement with a total contract value of $704,000 with Iluka for their new Balranald site based in the Murray Basin NSW.

Swift has been contracted to manage the design and installation of the village network infrastructure, Wi-Fi services, and the installation of Swift Access into all rooms and common areas.

Swift Access is a connected TV solution that turns any TV into a smart TV and provides secure casting, the delivery of site messages/information, company content and the latest movies to rooms across the mine sites. Without the need for new Televisions, high bandwidth or expensive Pay-TV services.

Swift will also provide 24/7 Technical Support to ensure the efficient operation of Iluka’s village services. Swift’s Client Success team will provide training, usage data, and insights to deliver an exceptional on-site living experience and assist Iluka in maximising the potential of Swift to drive efficiencies across their onsite and corporate communications with their workforce.

The Balranald site is an important source of high-quality zircon, rutile, synthetic rutile feedstock and rare earths feedstock.

It also adds to Swift’s existing Iluka portfolio, which includes Iluka’s Ngulya Village at Eneabba and Cataby villages.

“This new agreement further validates the demand for Swift’s complete village entertainment solution – design and installation of the network infrastructure, Wifi, its Swift Access solution that provides a platform for workforce communications, and various entertainment options from early release movies to BYOD, and ongoing VES management with 24/7 Technical Support, onboarding and ongoing training, and monthly services reports covering usage data and insights. Repeat customers, especially for new sites, are the best source of validation," CEO, Brian Mangano, said.
