Traffic Technologies Limited (ASX: TTI) has been awarded a number of significant new contracts in Australia and internationally with a combined value of approximately $4 million.
Quick Turn Circuits (QTC), the company’s urban traffic controller business, has been awarded a contract to manufacture and supply up to $1.2 million of traffic controllers and software licenses to expand an existing traffic management system in Pudong – Shanghai China. This contract demonstrated the company’s capabilities in providing leading smarter and more efficient traffic systems to a city with a population of over 5.6 million people.
Aldridge Traffic Systems has won further contracts of up to $2 million, for the supply of its Smart City LED streetlights to the Mornington Peninsula Shire in Victoria. In addition, it has been award a further one-year extension of its current contract to supply Smart City LED streetlights to TasNetworks with whom the company has had a long standing relationship with the supply of over 20,000 street lights to date.
Aldridge Traffic Systems has also been awarded a further contract worth up to $1 million for the supply of its environmentally friendly LED traffic signalling equipment for the $1.2 billion, 6.7km Stage 3 Gold Coast Light Rail project in Queensland.
The awarding of these new contracts is a testament to the company’s longstanding capabilities in designing and providing major cities with smart and environmentally sound technology for major infrastructure works on a global scale and the solid relationships it has with its major customers.
