Travel and expense technology solution business Serko Limited (ASX: SKO) has been named as the winner of the PwC Hi-Tech Company of the Year category in the New Zealand Hi-Tech Awards.

In selecting Serko as the PwC Hi-Tech Company of the Year the international judges said, “This is a world-leading company in its sector, and a consistent finalist in this category. The judges love the team’s ethos and culture, and admire its diversity.”

Serko’s CEO, Darrin Grafton, said the company had been a finalist for eight consecutive years.

“We never give up on our goals, we carry on until we win, no matter what, because through consistency and execution we know that success will happen.”

A NZ Hi-Tech Award is one of the technology sector’s most sought-after accolades and they have been awarded to New Zealand’s most successful high-tech companies and highest achieving individuals over the past 25 years.

Previous winners of the PwC NZ Hi-Tech Company of the Year award include Xero, Pushpay, and Fisher & Paykel Heathcare. The Awards are run by the NZ Hi-Tech Trust, a not-for-profit organisation that supports and promotes the wider industry.
