Wangle Technologies Limited (ASX:WGL) has released the Android version of its ground-breaking family protection software suite, Wangle Family Insites (WFI) , to the Google Play store.
The company said the Android version of WFI will be available f or customers once the app has been made visible across all of the Google Play servers.
The release of the Android version completes the full release of the Company’s ground – breaking parent protection suite utilising behavioural analysis of live mobile network traffic across Wangle’s best in class secure VPN network to help parents identify and manage online risks to their children.
Wangle’s CEO and MD Sean Smith said the product is now available via the Apple and Android App stores on a monthly or annual family subscription and will initially target Australia’s 6 million families before a planned international expansion.
He said additional enhancements to the online parent portal have now been completed for release in coming days. Enhancements include back-end optimisation and more granular charting of internet and app usage statistics, which will be made visible to WFI customers once their accounts accrue the required level of additional data.
Wangle has also developed a GPS Gating feature, which allows parents to set an alert that activates when a child’s device moves outside of a 20 – metre radius from the chosen location, will be finalised next week It is anticipated that the feature will be released to customers by the end of November after final testing is completed.
Development of a desktop version of the Wang le VPN for inclusion within WFI, as requested from customer feedback during beta testing, is now well underway with a December launch date anticipated. Further details of the WFI Desktop launch will be released in due course.
