ASX-listed communications workflow platform Whispir (WSP) has advanced its expansion into the North American market through AWS Partner certification, channel partner collaborations, a new contract win and new product innovations.
Certified as an APN Advanced Technology Partner by Amazon Web Services (AWS), Whispir is now eligible for benefits including market development funding from AWS, the option to work with the AWS Partner Team on integrated marketing campaigns, use of APN Advanced Tier branding, and collaboration with AWS through events and forums.
APN Advanced Technology Partner status is only available to companies that meet architectural best practice for reliable and secure cloud systems and generate a defined minimum revenue level through AWS.
Whispir CEO Jeromy Wells said, “Our recognition as an APN Advanced Technology Partner significantly enhances our product development opportunities, with benefits such as priority access to new AWS services such as Amazon EventBridge that we can immediately pass on to our customers.
“It also increases Whispir’s cloud-based technical capability. Initial system migration and tech upgrades using AWS’s infrastructure have already improved our resiliency and scalability while delivering sizeable cost-efficiencies for the business.”
In a shared North American go-to-market strategy with channel partner Nexmo, Whispir is now leveraging its existing ANZ healthcare use cases and proof points to target the US healthcare sector.
Whispir’s automated workflow capabilities are ideal for the healthcare market, facilitating secure HIPPA compliant multi-channel communications that safeguard personal health information and meet privacy protection standards.
Whispir’s partnership with Nexmo has already produced a new customer in US medical transport company MTM. One of America’s largest and most experienced non-emergency medical transport brokers, MTM schedules more than 20 million trips for patients between their homes and medical facilities every year.

Whispir is also generating interest in the US with its new product innovations Video Chat and AWS’s EventBridge.
Whispir Video Chat is the first one-click instant live video chat service offered by any communications workflow provider that doesn’t require third-party installations or pre-registrations. It takes the complexity out of hosting and storing video conferencing, enabling Whispir clients to improve customer resolution times and satisfaction as well as increase staff efficiency.
Whispir’s integration with AWS EventBridge allows users to create event-triggered integrations with IOT devices without coding. Users can now easily implement Whispir’s communication workflows which trigger a series of responses based on real-time changes in geolocation data – a feature that previously required extensive developer input and management.
