XTEK ships A$1.49m tranche of Defence SUAS orders - TechInvest Magazine Online

XTEK Limited (ASX: XTE) has shipped A$1.49m of Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS) related spare parts, to the Commonwealth of Australia’s Department of Defence.

This shipment, which was part of an earlier A$4.94m batch of orders announced in March 22, comprises important spare parts and components for the Army’s fleet of AeroVironment SUAS.

XTEK’s Technology Division, will progressively dispatch the remaining orders mentioned in the 9 March 2022 announcement, throughout the course of FY2023.

The shipment of these important SUAS spare parts and components from our state-of-the-art repair facility in Canberra to key Defence locations around the country, are provided as part of the ongoing Support Contract we have with Defence for the Land 129 Phase 4A project,” Scott Basham, XTEK’s Group CEO, said.

“XTEK is committed to ensuring that we keep this important SUAS reconnaissance and surveillance capability fully operational for Defence, so that Army’s front line soldiers always have such great tools at their disposal.”
