Artificial intelligence and blockchain-based supply chain innovators, Yojee Limited (ASX:YOJ) continues to build partnerships with big industry players, announcing a service agreement with Schenker (Asia Pacific), the regional business for Deutsche Bahn’s freight division DB Schenker.

Yojee doubles up key partnerships

The partnership is the second significant alliance in three months, with the company also arranging a pilot project with the Asia-Pacific arm of global logistics group United Parcel Service (UPS) in March this year.

Under the terms of the agreement, Schenker (Asia Pacific) will pay a fee to Yojee to commence the project. The artificial intelligence company will then implement and trial its logistics technology to manage “last mile” operations.

Yojee’s technology will assist the transition of goods through facilities and processes, such as warehousing, cross-docking, wharf cartage and route optimisation.

The company notes that there are multiple benefits from its strategy of targeting major organisations. The agreements produce both real-world case studies and product stress-testing, as well as an increased industry profile.

Yojee’s expansion into the global supply chain is well timed with large-scale logistics companies investing heavily into technology.

The project with Schenker (Asia Pacific) will run for up to four months, permitting both parties to evaluate the success of the pilot.

We look forward to working with DB Schenker, a true global logistics leader, to evaluate building an industry leading digital transformation package using Yojee’s platform, AI and blockchain,” Mr Ed Clarke, managing director of Yojee said.

“This agreement with DB Schenker provides strong industry validation of Yojee’s unique value proposition to global logistics companies and the future potential of our technology,” he said.
