Edtech play Schrole’s alliance with leading international school service provider International School Services (ISS) is paying off with its platform already delivering sales more than two months ahead of formal launch.

The Australian company has received initial sales from international schools who are migrating from Schrole Connect to ISS-Schrole Advantage platform.

First sales for Schrole’s alliance platform

The new comes after Schrole and ISS announced in April they would merge their current school and candidate clients into a combined client base from September – the beginning of the prime recruitment period for international schools.

According to Schrole, the advanced sales demonstrate an immediate interest in the product ahead of the formal platform launch.

From September 2018, more than 380 schools are expected to utilise this platform, an increase of over 150% on Schrole’s current international school client base.

The ISS-Schrole Advantage platform will provide those schools access to a database of 72,000 current teachers.

Schrole Managing Director Rob Graham said first sales were proof that international schools see great value in the combined offering.

It is a very exciting time in Schrole’s short history as we build our alliance with ISS to take an outstanding position in the provision of international education recruitment services and, ultimately, deliver value for our shareholders,” he said.

The upgraded Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) platform that will underpin the ISS-Schrole Advantage services is now in advanced stages of development.

The platform will be sold at higher subscription prices than the existing Schrole Connect product and will be sold as two distinct product options – Classic and Premium – providing a comprehensive solution which meets the individual needs of schools.

Looking ahead, the alliance places ISS-Schrole Advantage in a strong position for continued sales growth with the international school market anticipated to double over the next 10 years from the current 9,712 international schools.

Shares in Schrole were last trading at 1.6c.
