NetComm has launched an Enhanced Hybrid LTE Gateway that enables network operators to deliver immediate and always-on high-speed connectivity to their broadband customers.

Netcomm launches dual-mode gateway for small business

The Enhanced Hybrid 4G LTE Gateway aimed at small business owners can deliver fixed-broadband services on the Australian National Broadband Network or the New Zealand Ultra-Fast Broadband network supports all LTE carrier bands being used across the Australian and New Zealand markets.

The LTE functionality enables always-on connectivity if the fixed broadband connection is interrupted. It also works on current ADSL2+ networks. While the dual-mode device enables operators to connect customers to high-speed LTE broadband services immediately with no delay while waiting for fixed-line connections to activate.

Today’s broadband customers expect to be connected as fast as possible to their service. A delayed activation means an unhappy customer, so the immediate 4G connectivity provided by the Enhanced Hybrid LTE Gateway is a big win for customers and network operators”, said Els Baert, Director of Marketing & Communications at NetComm.

This always on connectivity will be particularly attractive for the SME business market where customers need to have the peace of mind of constant high-speed connectivity to support the needs of their business.

“Broadband customers also hate being offline, even for a short time. The 4G back-up on the Enhanced Hybrid LTE Gateway provides a great way for operators to deliver a seamless always-on connection to keep their customers happy.”
