Oneflare, a leading source of trusted local experts, today announced it has acquired TidyMe, Australia’s top-rated cleaning marketplace offering on-demand access to high-quality home cleaning services.

Traditionally a platform that facilitates connections between customers and local experts, Oneflare has been making strategic acquisitions to offer a full suite of services, for over 100,000 businesses and the millions of users engaging with their platform.

Consistent with the global trend towards consolidation, the roll-up of TidyMe, together with the acquisition of UrbanYou in July 2018, sees consolidation of Australia’s two leading on-demand home service marketplaces. The two businesses combined, plus HomeHello which was acquired by UrbanYou in October 2017, positions Oneflare as the largest, most compelling on-demand home services marketplace in Australia.

Billy Tucker, CEO of Oneflare, believes the fundamental success of TidyMe has been their exceptional ability to build a solid recurring business model. He is excited to leverage the knowledge and recurring attributes of TidyMe, to enhance the direct relationship with Oneflare consumers.

TidyMe has built a standout brand that’s well known for quality, which is reflected in impressive consumer ratings. Their focus on excellence is incredible and you can see that through the number of customers subscribed to a week in week out cleaning service, says Tucker.

“We will provide rocket fuel to a quality focused business like TidyMe. Oneflare’s market leading search optimisation, plus the millions of users already visiting our platform each month offers a huge boost to TidyMe’s customer acquisition efforts, which in turn gives Oneflare a valuable source of recurring revenue – it’s a massive win-win.”

Immediately following the acquisition, TidyMe will operate independently of Oneflare with TidyMe founder, Stacey Jacobs, managing the business transfer.

Ms Jacobs is thrilled by the acquisition and explains it came at the best possible time.

“To continue our vision for rapid national scale but with no compromise to our high quality service, it was vital we found the right partner”, she said.

“As one of the fastest growing marketplaces for services, connecting millions of Aussies to businesses all over the country, Oneflare was the perfect fit. Oneflare will continue to support our expectation for quality, and provide even more opportunities for our trusted network of service providers wanting to grow their business”, explains Jacobs.

TidyMe is the latest in a string of acquisitions by Oneflare. In July 2018, Oneflare acquired leading on-demand home services marketplace UrbanYou. In 2015, Oneflare successfully acquired Word of Mouth, Australia’s leading rating and reviews platform for services. This has enabled Oneflare to build a platform that focuses on quality, trust and referrals, ensuring all jobs are completed to standards unmatched by rivals.

“What TidyMe has achieved to date is exceptional, and we’re excited to welcome Stacey and the TidyMe brand to the Oneflare family’, concludes Tucker.
