Innovative tech play SenSen Networks has its eyes set on the booming casino market with its data-driven business process enhancement solutions.

The ASX-listed company (ASX:SNS) takes video streams from any source including video cameras, mobile phones and CCTV cameras, processes the video with GPS and any other sensors to develop data that provides valuable insights for businesses.

SenSen breaks into casino market

SenSen initially developed a product – called SenCITY – that can be used by city councils in terms of parking operations, traffic engineering operations and security safety operations.

Now the company is looking at casinos as a significant new growth market for its product.

SenSen has developed SenGAME which delivers accurate, immediately actionable insights into table activity and occupancy heat maps, floor yield management, hands per hour and dealer KPIs, type and value of every bet placed on the gaming floor and fraud detection.

Speaking at the TechKnow Invest Roadshow in Sydney, SenSen Networks CEO Subhash Challa said the company had already entered a strategic partnership with Crown Casino which is progressively rolling out SenGAME on all card games in Crown Melbourne.

We have been working hard in taking the casino gaming space from Crown, our first customer, to adding further customers,” he told TechInvest at the roadshow.

“We are now trying to make that product reach the world. We have been in discussions with lots of casinos in Macau, Las Vegas and UK where we do think that in the next six months or so we should start seeing some traction. This will be a big change for the company.”

Mr Challa said SenCITY would continue to grow in a substantial way, having signed multi-year contract with Singapore Changi Airport and five-year deal with City of Calgary, Canada to monitor for parking violations.

“If you look at the size of the contracts we are getting from cities, they will continue to grow over time both in value and types of services we provide,” he said.

“Existing cities will provide new services and new cities to add to our portfolio.”

The company is also looking at vertical expansion into other high growth market segments including retail, logistics and mining.

SenSen – which listed in October 2017 – traded today at 18.5c.

The second instalment of the TechKnow Invest Roadshow will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Melbourne on Thursday 12 April, to find out more or register please go to:
