Cold spray solutions specialist Titomic Limited (ASX: TTT) has completed the sale of a Titomic D623 cold spray system for $174,000 to United Industrial Solutions, a specialist in coatings and corrosion mitigation for the resource sector. This contract marks the first deployment of the D623 system in Australia.
United Industrial Solutions will leverage the D623 system to perform service work for some of the world's leading energy suppliers as well as key players in the marine industry. The D623’s primary application will be the deposition of corrosion-resistant coatings on critical oil and gas assets, primarily in Western Australia. These services aim to significantly extend the lifespan of these assets and improve their resilience in harsh marine environments.
The D623 is the next generation of Titomic’s portable cold spray systems and is an advancement on the D523, as the D623 has a higher deposition rate and can deposit harder metals, while also increasing deposition rates. The introduction of the D623 to industry has been strong, with other sales made previously to Airbus, EPCOR, University Rey Juan Carlos, and Neue Materialien Bayreuth.
Titomic’s cold spray technology provides unmatched performance in creating durable, corrosion-resistant coatings, helping industries extend the lifecycle of valuable infrastructure.
This sale further strengthens Titomic's position in the energy and maritime sectors, showcasing the critical role cold spray technology plays in maintaining and protecting vital assets.
