Advanced manufacturing and coatings technology specialist Titomic Limited (ASX: TTT) has sold two D523 low-pressure cold spray systems, one in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia and the second in Texas, USA with a combined value of A$198,829.
Managing Director, Herbert Koeck, said these sales not only represent a significant milestone for Titomic but also mark a pivotal moment in the company’s expansion into new markets.
He said the sale in Western Australia is particularly noteworthy as it signifies Titomic’s strategic entry into the mining services industry in this region.
“This is a crucial development, considering the robust and growing mining sector in Western Australia. This sale of the D523 system underscores the system’s adaptability and mobility for the demands of the mining servicing industry, a sector known for its stringent requirements for durability and efficiency.”
In the United States, the sale in Texas, facilitated by Anywise America, is also a landmark achievement. This marks the first sale by Anywise America since joining forces with Titomic as a reseller.
“This successful transaction, following an on-site demonstration, signifies the beginning of what promises to be a fruitful partnership, expanding Titomic’s reach in the American market,” Mr Koeck said.
“The successful sale of our D523 systems in Western Australia and Texas marks a significant stride in our strategic plan to enhance our footprint in essential industries. These transactions not only reflect our unwavering commitment to addressing the dynamic needs of these sectors but also showcase the strength and versatility of our advanced technological solutions.
“The accomplishment achieved by Anywise America is a testament to our strategic alignment and underlines the adaptability and relevance of our technology across diverse regional markets. As we move forward, we are excited to continue championing the growth and efficiency of industries, particularly in mining, through our innovative and transformative manufacturing technologies.”
The D523 system’s unique no-heat repair capability and rapid restoration feature for metal parts make it particularly suitable for the mining industry. Its ability to repair and restore metal components without high-temperature treatments not only preserves the integrity of critical mining equipment but also significantly prolongs their lifespan. This feature is invaluable in the mining sector, where equipment downtime can have substantial financial implications.
Mr Koeck said Titomic’s global presence is now more pronounced than ever, with over 133 Titomic cold spray systems in operation, predominantly across various industries in Europe. The D523 system, with its proven track record and trusted technology, is set to revolutionise the maintenance and repair processes in these new markets.
